With Fortnite Season 9 coming to a close, we may also be soon saying goodbye to the Fortbytes system, or at least this version of it. While we don’t know Epic’s plans just yet for Season 10, we can at least tick Fortbye #34: Found Between A Fork and Knife off our list.
In the unlikely event that you’ve been buried alive by The Undertaker for the last nine weeks and therefore been unable to keep up with Fortnite, Fortbytes were introduced by Fortbtyes at the start of Season 9 to keep players invested. A new Fortbyte can be found every day from 2PM BST with there being 100 in total to hunt down. You unlock a new cosmetic item every five Fortbytes you collect, but the big goal is getting 90, which is when you will unlock the Singularity skin.
Here’s everything you need to know about Fortbye #34: Found Between A Fork and Knife.
Fortbye #34: Found Between A Fork and Knife Map
You can find the fork and knife in Fortnite by heading on over to Fatal Fields and then heading slightly northwest. There is a distinct indent in the ground that looks like the eponymous utensils. There’s also a Sky Platform in close proximity.
Fortbye #34: Found Between A Fork and Knife Location
Though there’s a patch on top that suggests the Fortbyte is there, it is actually underground. You can find it on the southern side of the fork and knife, right by a security camera. No special requirements here, just wander up and get it.
Fortbyte #34 Video Guide
With us winding now in this Fortnite season, it’s no surprise to see that the Fortbytes are getting gated off more and more to those who have been putting the hours in with their Battle Pass and previous Fortbyte obligations.
There’s just under two weeks left to go until Fortnite Season 9 concludes, so if you haven’t made much of a dent in your Fortbytes, you really ought to get a move on.
