Fortnite players have been working consistently throughout Season 9 to unlock enough Fortbytes for the mysterious Utopia skin, the season-long Battle Pass skin that’s the alternative to the likes of the Discovery and Hunting Party challenges we’ve seen in the past. It’s a lot of work for a reward we know nothing about, but we finally have a good idea of what the Utopia skin will be: Singularity.
French leaker Yanteh has discovered the skin in the v9.30 patch, and all signs point towards it being the Utopia skin, though it’s not officially official just yet. Here it is.
And a slightly different look.
Look familiar? That’s because Singularity has the same design as the massive statue in Neo Tilted, which itself has been an ongoing question mark for the season. You may also remember the Vault event at the tailend of Season 8, in which the mask that Singularity is seen wearing in her unlockable styles could be found sitting on the desk.
It also looks like we will be getting challenges for those unlockable styles.
You will need to have collected 90 Fortbytes over the course of Fortnite Season 9 to unlock the Utopia skin, which should be manageable for most around Week 8. Question is: Has Singularity been worth all the effort? Sound off in the comments down below.
UPDATE: Here’s footage of Singularity doing, um, something.
