Fortnite Season 9 Fortbyte #8: Found Within Junk Junction

Your brain is junk if you don't get this.

The Fortbyte system remains the same as it did at its inception, providing involved daily challenges as an incentive to log in. More specifically, the Fortbyte system is an interesting blend of regular weekly challenges mixed with a ‘collectibles’ style scavenger hunt. There are 100 Fortbytes in total and one is released every 24 hours. Each Fortbyte has instructions on where and how you can find it, but some are a bit more difficult to track down that others.

This article is focused on Fortbyte #8, one of the most straightforward and easy to locate Fortbytes currently released.

Fortbyte #8 (Found Within Junk Junction) Location

Junk Junction Fortbyte

A relatively easy location, Junk Junction is the named junkyard (as the name implies) at the very northwestern edge of the map. It is located west of The Block and North of Haunted Hills, occupying B1 and B2 on the main map’s grid.

Just like Junk Junction, the Fortbyte is also very easy to located. Junk Junction has a central building, which is also the location’s biggest building. If you enter from the west side of the building then turn left, then left again, you’ll see a small ‘cubicle’, with a mattress in it (presumably a homeless person’s abode). The Fortbyte will be resting on the mattress.

A very simple Fortbyte this time around, no tricks, rewards or special instructions required. Just head to Junk Junction and look around the ground floor of the main building and you’ll find it in short order.
