Fortnite Season 9’s Fortbyte system continues to provide much needed additional content as Season 9 gets ready to enter retirement. Today’s Fortbyte (Wednesday of Week 7) presents us with Fortbyte #60: Accessible With Sign Spinner Emote In Front Of The Happy Oink Restaurant
The Fortbyte system is a daily set of challenges that are released one at a time at 2pm BST. The challenges often take the form of a treasure hunt style challenge that asks you to decipher clues to track down the Fortbyte. There are 100 Fortbytes in total (and therefore 100 challenges), spanning the entirety of Season 9. Collecting Fortbyte yields cosmetic rewards at certain tiers and each individual Fortbyte reveals a tile on a mosaic image. This image currently features Bunker Jonesy and some frantic scrawlings.
This guide focuses on Fortbyte #60: Accessible With Sign Spinner Emote In Front Of The Happy Oink Restaurant, which reminds us to keep up with our Battle Pass.
Fortbyte #60: Sign Spinner
The Sign Spinner emote is located at tier 63 on the Battle Pass. This is still a considerable required progress, but not as bad as last week in which the Battle Pass growth expected was quite rapid. Either way, simply having the emote unlocked will allow you to access to complete this challenge.
Fortnite Season 9 Fortbyte #60 Map
The Happy Oink restaurant isn’t a particularly notable or well known landmark and to compound matters makes itself home at a rather neglected location, Happy Hamlet. The Happy Oink restaurant is located at D9 on the main map’s grid.
If you enter Happy Oink through the front entrance (door is on the southwestern corner of the store), you’ll see the Fortbyte in plain sight just behind the display counters. Jump (or destroy) the counters and pop the Sign Spinner emote, wait a moment for it to become accessible and voilà, finished.
Fortbyte #60 Video Guide
After yesterday’s very strange (but welcome) challenge, it was somewhat expected to have something a little less radical this time around. Once again, the expectation to keep up with your Battle Pass remains and will probably only get more extreme as we approach the final weeks of Season 9. There are still 40 tiers of rewards left and only three weeks left to the season. So if you’re behind on your Fortbytes, you’ll have to put some decent hours to catch back up if you intend to complete all 100 Fortbytes.
