The Fortbyte system continues to go strong into the second week of Season 9, replacing some of the more complicated weekly challenges with an involved daily challenge. The Fortbyte system is an interesting blend of regular weekly challenges mixed with a ‘collectibles’ style scavenger hunt. There are 100 Fortbytes in total and one is released every 24 hours. Each Fortbyte has instructions on where and how you can find it, but some are a bit more difficult to track down that others.
This guide is focused on Fortbyte #22, which requires you to have both the Battle Pass and be at least up to the 6th tier to complete.
Fortbyte #22 (Accessible By Using Rox Spray In An Underpass) Location
The underpass in question is actually just the tunnel in Neo Tilted towers. More specifically, it can be found on the southwestern area of Tilted Towers. You’ll know you’re at the right spot because it is the lowest point of Neo Tilted and has a large semi-truck nearby. D6 on the main map’s grid.
Fortbyte #22
The Fortbyte itself is located inside the tunnel about midway in on the west side of the tunnel in a corner. It’s relatively easy to find, but does require you have access to the ‘Rox’ spray. The Rox spray is in the Battle Pass tier of rewards on the 6th tier. Most people who play regularly and keep on top of their challenges will have this no issue. If you don’t have it, you won’t be able to complete the challenge, which means unlocking this first. Once you have the spray, simply spray it on the Fortbyte and it’ll become accessible.
As we get deeper into the Fortbyte daily challenges, it is likely people will need to keep their Battle Pass tier up-to-date (which means staying on top of your challenges) in an effort to keep your options open for newer Fortbytes.
