Fortnite Season 9 rolls on, and so too do the daily Fortbtyes. We’re really starting to get into the business side of the season now, so if you are yet to start making a dent in your Fortbytes, there’s no time like the present. Why not start with Fortbyte #53: Accessible By Helping To Raise Disco Ball At Abandoned Villain Lair?
Just in case you’ve been seriously out of the loop, Fortnite’s Fortbytes give players a daily scavenger hunt to complete, which has seemingly overtaken the worthwhile challenges in the weeklies. Collecting 90 Fortbytes in total will net you the Singularity skin — some of you may actually be able to unlock in just under two weeks. You also earn a cosmetic item for every five Fortbytes you find, as well as one tile revealing what Bunker Jonesy is up to on that wall.
Here’s everything you ought to know about Fortbyte #53: Accessible By Helping To Raise Disco Ball At Abandoned Villain Lair.
Fortnite Season 9 Fortbyte #53 Map
As you can see, the Villain Lair in question is referring to the one established during Season 4 and the one from which The Visitor launched his rocket. It’s basically the opposite to yesterday’s superhero mansion.
It’s in a bit of disrepair now, but you can find it at B4/B5 on the Fortnite map. If you’ve been around with Fortnite for long, allow that nostalgia to engulf you.
This is a slightly involved challenge, but you only need 1 friend or even a helpful enemy to get the Fortbyte to appear. You simply have to dance on one of the dancefloor pads halfway up the facility and then have someone else do likewise on the other pad.
You do need to use a sustained dance, so something like the Sad Trombone might not cut it. I opted for Best Mates to really amp up the nostalgia factor.
Once the disco ball hits the top, simply walk on over to the Fortbyte and claim your prize.
Fortbyte #53 Video Guide
As you can see, Fortbyte #53 shouldn’t give you too much hassle to locate. Epic tend to make the weekends the easiest for one reason or other and make the solutions rather broad and obvious (if you have been playing Fortnite for a long while, of course).
With Season 9 wrapping up, it it will be very interesting to see what the theme is for the next season, as well as what huge event Epic no doubt have planned. There’s currently a robot factory in Pressure Plant and a big monster on the loose, so who knows what that could mean?
