Your first instinct might be Junk Junction, but that’s not out in the desert. Instead, venture over to the “Mini-Junk” out in the desert at I9 on the Fortnite map and find the puzzle on the wall of a hut.

The pattern match puzzle is very tricky at this time of writing, just because of how many people are crowding around to get it done, so you may want to wait a few hours first. Other players can quickly ruin your pattern matching.
To start the puzzle, you must pull the lever. Colored lights will then start to illuminate in a pattern. You have to follow that pattern after it’s done by hitting them with your pickaxe or shooting them. One wrong swipe and you will have to start over.
You have to complete four of these patterns in a row to unlock Fortbyte #28, which is directly right to the puzzle itself. The easiest thing to remember is that it’s the same pattern each time with just one extra color at the end of it.
Another thing worth bearing in mind: the pattern changes each time someone pulls a lever, so any other guides that say there is a single pattern are incorrect.
