Fortnite Overtime Challenges: Visit Different Waterfalls & Waterfalls Locations

All the Fortnite waterfalls locations you need for your Overtime challenges ahead of Season 8.

Fortnite Waterfalls

Fortnite’s Overtime challenges keep delivering as promised. One of the more map knowledge based Overtime challenges asks you to visit every single waterfall on the map. Not a massive ask, but for those of you unfamiliar with the ever-changing landscape of Fortnite, we’ve documented the location of every waterfall. You can visit them over as many matches as it takes just as long as you’ve visited seven of them. The quickest way to knock this challenge out is to grab a X-4 Stormwing and just fly to each one. Remember if you quit (i.e. do not finish the match), you won’t receive credit for visiting that waterfall.

There are ten waterfalls in total, but you only need to visit seven of them; picture provided below.

All the locations are relatively spread out except for Loot Lake, which houses four in close proximity. Regardless, the waterfalls are very easily spotted, especially from the sky, which is why a Stormwing is perfect for this challenge.

Loot Lake (Central) Waterfall

At the centre of Loot Lake are numerous waterfalls that flow into the focal point of the location. There is actually three gentle waterfalls here and all three count as separate ones. This is the easiest place to get credit and should be your first stop. All three waterfalls are located at E4 on the main map’s grid.

Loot Lake (South) Waterfall

On the southern edge of the Loot Lake’s lake, a waterfall flows into the map’s central river. You’ll find this at E5 on the main map’s grid.

Lonely Lodge Waterfall

In the northernmost reaches of Lonely Lodge, near the site’s main lodge, you’ll find a small waterfall flowing into the pond nearby.

Northern Edge Waterfall

On the northern edge of the map, slightly east of centre the main river flows off the map into the ocean. Located at G2 on the main map’s grid.

Oasis Waterfall

There is an oasis in the desert region of the map; southwest of Paradise Palms, north of the Truck ‘N’ Oasis truck stop. A waterfall flows right off of this oasis into a river (that leads into another waterfall later). H9 on the main map’s grid.

Southern Edge (Central) Waterfall

On the southern edge of the map, near the direct centre is a waterfall that is frozen over. This one is directly connected from the map’s central river. This one is located at F10 on the main map’s grid.

Southern Edge (Eastern) Waterfall

Another waterfall flows off into the ocean on the southern edge of the map, this one is very far east on the corner of the map, directly south of Paradise Palms. You’ll find it at I10 on the main map’s grid.

Viking Village Waterfall

Fortnite waterfall

This one is very visible from a distance and is frozen over, but used to flow majestically from the mountain that Viking Village is perched upon. The waterfall is on the southern face of this mountain. B6 on the main map’s grid.

That’s all there is to it for this challenge, just visit each waterfall in any order in any match and you’re done. With Season 8 around the corner, you only have about a week to snag your free Battle Pass.
