Ubisoft being given the keys to the Star Wars kingdom to create an open world game should be a pretty exciting concept, though the lacklustre reception to their recent Avatar game might be a cause for concern. Regardless, with the galaxy far, far away teeming with inspiration to pull from, and plenty of unique weapons and tools to use, Outlaws could be a true summer gaming blockbuster, and now they’ve announced the various editions you can pre-order, we have a lot more information about the game.
Star Wars Outlaws | Release Date
Star Wars Outlaws will be launching on August 30th, 2024 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S, with pre-orders live right now on digital storefronts. Pre-orders at other outlets and online retailers should go live within the coming days.
Star Wars Outlaws Pre-Order Bonus
Those who pre-order any version of Star Wars Outlaws will receive the Kessel Runner bonus pack, which includes a new skin for your landspeeder and the Trailblazer spaceship.
Star Wars Outlaws Standard Edition

The vanilla version, you don’t get anything extra for purchasing this version of Star Wars Outlaws unless you pre-order the game.
Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition

A huge jump in price from the standard edition of the game, the Gold Edition doesn’t include a lot extra, aside from 3 days worth of early access to the game, allowing you to play from August 27th. The Gold Edition also features the Season Pass, which will add two story expansions to the game post-launch, along with the Jabba’s Gambit exclusive mission and the Kessel Runner character pack, featuring new cosmetics for characters Kay and Nix.
Star Wars Outlaws Ultimate Edition
Price: £114.99-£119.99
Physical/Digital: Digital
The most expensive version of Outlaws announced, unless Ubisoft drop a Collector’s Edition somewhere down the line, the Ultimate Edition includes everything that the Gold Edition has, along with the Rogue Infiltrator and Sabaac Shark cosmetic bundles, adding new skins for your characters and weapons. The bundle also features a digital art book too.
Something to note about the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws is that it’s included as part of the Ubisoft+ subscription service, which is available for £14.99 a month. If you’d rather save some money and don’t mind waiting, you could easily sign up for Ubisoft+ for a month when the Season Pass content has dropped, then blitz the whole game without having to pay over £100.
