“Welcome to WrestleMania!”
Those legendary words always give me goosebumps thinking about the tens of thousands of rabid wrestling fans who will be ready and waiting for two very special nights of performance. This year is no different and with the added extra celebration of this WrestleMania being the 40th instalment, you can guarantee that WWE have some aces up their sleeves.
Taking place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 and Sunday, April 7th, 2024, this year’s Mania is once again built around the feud of Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline. Roman Reigns will be defending his title once again against this year’s Royal Rumble winner, ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes, in the main-event of the second night. However, the added flavor this year is that on Night One, Cody will have to team with the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, to take on both Reigns and his Hollywood-clad cousin, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The stars are all here for what will be a historic event. Alongside the titular main-event matches are a plethora of championship fights, multi-man/team carnage and exhibitions to whet the whistle of any wrestling fan. – Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch – Women’s World Championship
– Gunther vs Sami Zayn – Intercontinental Championship
– The Judgement Day vs DIY vs New Catch Republic vs The New Day vs Awesome Truth vs Austin Theory & Grayson Waller – Ladder Match for the Unified Tag Team Championship
– Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso
– Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill & Naomi vs Damage Control (Dakota Kai, Asuka & Kairi Sane)
– Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs Dominik Mysterio & Santos Escobar
– Roman Reigns & The Rock vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins – If Rhodes/Rollins win, Bloodline are banned from ringside for Night Two. If Roman/Rock win, the match is contested under Bloodline Rules.

With so many blockbuster matches to sink your teeth into, wherever you look, you know this is going to be one hell of an emotional ride. Philly is already primed for a huge two nights of Mania, but with the following RAW and other wrestling events taking place around the city, you can guarantee that it’s going to be a special weekend.
