A major update has been revealed regarding the location for next year’s WrestleMania event. Per sources, the two-night extravagansa will hail from the wrestling state of Minnesota in 2025. Minnesota has been in the running to host a WrestleMania for the past few years, being trumped by Philadelphia this year and Los Angeles previously.

Though no official announcement from WWE is yet to hit the news sites, it has been stated that those of influence within WWE are hinting heavily towards Minnesota being the next state in line. This has gone as far as the governor of Minnesota dropping WrestleMania into one of his latest speeches, suggesting that the event could bring up to $20 million dollars in revenue.

As far as the arena itself, a safe bet would be the US Bank Stadium – the home to the Minnesota Vikings. With a capacity of just over 73,000, the stadium seems to fit the bill as far as venues WWE like to poach for their biggest show of the year.

WrestleMania XL is a matter of weeks away and an announcement for next year’s event will likely come alongside this year’s instalment. This year’s edition is currently set to be headlined by Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship as well as a huge tag match between the aforementioned two, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
