Saints Row: All Collectibles Explained

Gotta collect 'em all.

You can’t have an open world game without a bevy of collectibles to find and discover, and Saints Row certainly isn’t an exception to that rule, with lots of different types of collectibles and items to discover. Some of them are related to Ventures, businesses that you can buy and complete missions for, such as the Cutting Edge Materials, while others will reward cash, XP and even new weapons.

The main kind of collectible is referred to as “Discoveries”, and they come in various forms, though there are some collectibles that don’t class as Discoveries. You’ll have your work cut out for you if you want to find everything Santo Ileso has to offer. Here’s a rundown of all the collectibles you can encounter in Saints Row, and a brief guide on how to find them easily.

Decor Collectibles

Decor Collectibles are items you can find in the open world that you can take a photo of using your in-game Camera app. Once you take a photo of a collectible, you can then place said item at your HQ. Decor Collectibles don’t appear on the map, but there’s a special app on your phone that offers clues as to where you can find them. They also have a purple flash/overlay, making them easier to spot while exploring.

Drug Pallet Pickups

Drug Pallet Pickups are exactly what they sound like, and can typically be found in groups of two or three, so if you spot one, there’s bound to be more nearby. As a general rule of thumb, most drug pallets found in the urban areas will be found on rooftops, so you’ll either have to climb around the back of the building, or use a wingsuit.

Dumpster Diving

Dumpster Diving sees you launching headfirst into bins to find whatever’s in there. Sometimes, you’ll find money, while you can also find pieces of new vehicles which will be available from the garage. As you’d expect, dumpsters can be found in back alleys, along with on the sides of parking lots. You can tell which dumpsters can be searched due to their gold hue.

Fast Travel Points

Fast Travel points will appear on your map as you discover them, but in order to actually unlock them for use, you’ll need to head to that area and take a picture. Typically, there’ll be some kind of huge monument or statue near the marker. Snap a good picture of that and you’ll have a new fast travel point unlocked.

Hidden History

Hidden History is a chance to learn about the history of Santo Ileso, and they can be found in a host of different locations that have some cultural or historical significance to the area. Art installations, fountains and memorials are just some of the areas you’ll find Hidden History collectibles.

The marker that appears on the map signifies a board that invites you to learn more about the area. Within a radius of that middle board, you’ll find four additional boards that contain lore regarding Santo Ileso. After finding all the boards and returning to the middle one, you’ll unlock some XP and money. Completing certain batches of Hidden History will also net you weapons, vehicles and even outfits.

Lost Wheels

Lost Wheels can be found in the deserts and area surrounding the main city, and operate similar to Dumpster Diving. Each Lost Wheel is a statue that contains a piece of a new vehicle, be it bike, car or boat. Find all the pieces, and you’ll have a new toy to play with. Considering they’re all located in the outskirts of the map, they’re best found by using a helicopter, purely because you can cover more ground that way.

Photo Hunts

Photo Hunt points also work in the same way, along with Decor Collectibles, a special type of collectible that are unlocked after completing the mission Office Decor. Taking pictures of certain objects in the environment will unlock those objects as placeable statues or wall art back at the Saints Church HQ.

Rooftop Access

Rooftop Access points aren’t quite collectibles in the same sense as others in this list, but they’re useful to find as they’ll allow you to get vertical with your wingsuit, which you’ll need for some ventures and collectibles. Rooftop access can be found at the base of some skyscrapers in the Lakeshore area, so you’ll likely stumble onto those naturally anyway.

Shooting Gallery

Shooting Galleries are small obstacle courses set up in the desert on the outskirts of the map. Each contains 15 targets, and completing them nets XP and money. Like Lost Wheels, you’re better off using a helicopter to scout the desert to find them. Once you’re actually in the Gallery, make sure to check every inch of the area, as boards can be found in some particularly tricky places.

Weather Station

Weather stations work in a similar fashion to Rooftop Access points, in that they can let you gain significant height for you to use your wingsuit. These can be found all across Santo Ileso, either on the ground or on top of buildings. Weather Stations can be a bit more hard to find, but can be identified by their multiple coloured towers and blinking lights.

Saints Row is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X & S.
