The Surge & Conan Exiles: Last Chance For April 2019’s PlayStation Plus Games

Not swooped on these games yet? You're running out of time.

The Surge PS4 Review
The Surge

If, for whatever mad reason, you are yet to add the “free” PlayStation Plus games for April 2019 to your PS4 library, your time is running: today is the last chance you will get before the offerings roll over into the next.

They are two fairly level games in terms of how big they are, but The Surge might just nudge it as the biggest game of the month, especially for anyone who’s beaten Sekiro and fancies something not too dissimilar. It lacks a lot of the nuance of From’s titles, but this Soulslike has mechs, so that’s good enough for me.

Next up, Conan Exiles is a survival game that, quite honestly, is just about okay. It doesn’t do anything revolutionary compared to its peers apart from allowing you to bascically indulge in slavery, but anyone who wants to mess around with a penis slider will certainly find something to enjoy here.

And that’s your lot. Don’t forget that PS3 and Vita games are no longer available as part of PlayStation Plus, which costs £6.99/$9.99 a month or £49.99/$59.99 for 12 months. You get games like these included with your subscription and also online play for multiplayer PS4 games (though not all require it) alongside cloud saves.

May 2019’s PlayStation Plus games are available from May 7th and include Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch, which we think is one of the best games on the PlayStation 4. Don’t sleep on it.

Which game from April 2019 have you played the most? What did you think of it overall?
