Google Stadia Launch Games: The Complete List

Better, but still not amazing.

Following a rather worrying earlier announcement that didn’t exactly convert the unconverted, Google have announced ten new launch games will be coming to Stadia on November 19th.

All the new Stadia launch games had previously been pencilled in for a release on the platform sometime in 2019, but it looks like Google have scrambled to make the launch a little more enticing.

The new games are Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2, Farming Simulator 2019, Final Fantasy XV, Football Manager 2020, GRID, Metro Exodus, NBA 2K20, Rage 2, Trials Rising, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Here’s the complete list of Stadia launch titles.

Destiny 2

Newly added games are in bold.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2
Destiny 2: The Collection (Stadia Pro)
Farming Simulator 2019
Final Fantasy XV
Football Manager 2020 (simultaneous launch with PC)
GRID
GYLT (Stadia exclusive)
Just Dance 2020
Kine
Metro Exodus
Mortal Kombat 11
NBA 2K20
Rage 2
Red Dead Redemption 2
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Samurai Shodown (Stadia Pro)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Thumper
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Trials Rising
Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Those new games have definitely done their bit to bolster the Stadia launch ranks, especially compared to how poor it was before. Sure, Tomb Raider still pads it out a bit, but 22 games on launch for a new platform? Not often you see that.

Of course, when you boil it down, Stadia only really has two games at launch that make it stand out: GYLT and Football Manager 2020. GYLT from the usually great Tequila Works can only be found on Stadia, and Football Manager 2020 being playable on your TV with added performance and less loading is enticing.

The rest of the games are ones that have been out for a fair old while with there still be huge question marks over the likes of Samurai Shodown due to streaming latency. We’ll just have to find out for ourselves.

Stadia begins rolling out on November 19th.
