Fortnite Season 4 Guide: Week 6 Battle Pass Challenges Walkthrough

Fortnite season 4 week 6
Fortnite

Another week, another set of challenges for Fortnite season 4. For week 6 of the Battle Pass, it’s more or less what you’d come to expect: a varied collection of things to see and do so you can cheese your way towards that sweet Omega skin far quicker.

Compared to the infamous trap eliminations challenge from week 4 and the treasure hunt from week 5, week 6’s challenges should be beatable without much fuss. If you’re looking for a straightforward guide on what to do, you’ve come to the right place.

Deal damage with shotguns to opponents (1000)
Just about the simplest challenge Epic Games has ever given, especially as Fortnite is 90% shotgun battles these days. This doesn’t have to be completed in one match, so even if you whiff your shots and only do 9 damage with shotguns, you will eventually conquer it. Technically, seeing as how deadly the pump is at close range, you can hit five headshot kills and tick this one off your list.

Search chests in Loot Lake (7 times)
Opermation Make Loot Lake Relevant Again continues into this week’s challenges with a pretty straightforward task. The temptation may be to land at the house at the center of the lake, but don’t do that. You’d be in the worst possible spot. Instead, land at one of the factories and then patrol the perimeter of the lake itself and you should find the chests eventually. Again, this doesn’t need to be done in one go.

Spray over different Carbide or Omega posters (7 times)
One of the more innovative challenges in recent weeks, you should already have a good idea as to where the posters will be as Epic already added them in a recent update. You can use any spray (find them in your emotes) and don’t need to find them all in one run. Find our guide for Omega and Carbide posters here.

Search supply drops (3 times)
This one should be a really breeze; you only really need to survive until the last 25, which means you can just sneak around until the drops start, erm, dropping. A simple suggestion is to keep an eye on the outskirts of the zone near the endgame as most players are too busy to waste time opening drops with another gold minigun in, for Christ’s sake, Epic.

Search between a playground, campsite, and a footprint (1 time)
A good old fashioned treasure hunt it is, then! This is the standard “here’s-some-weird-clues-now-go-and-wander-around-the-general-area” challenge from Epic that befuddles so many, but a good start is to head for Greasy Grove and you’re nearly there already. For our simple guide, be sure to check it out here.

Eliminate opponents in Retail Row (3 times)
Despite Epic labelling this one as “HARD”, it really isn’t that tricky as you don’t have to kill the three opponents in one run. Retail Row is usually quite busy so you should have already landed there plenty of times and know what to expect, but if you don’t: head for the shops. The traffic there is a lot quieter, giving you ample time to gear up before you go all Falling Down.

SMG eliminations (3 times)
This one may actually be “HARD”, especially if you’re using the trash factory that is the suppressed SMG. Use the tactical, however, and it should be a breeze, especially if you use it in combination with a shotgun. It just rips through opponents if you hit your targets and almost always makes opponents panic, which never gets old.
