Fortnite Season 4 Guide: Week 3 Battle Pass Challenges Walkthrough

Fortnite: Battle Royale

Week 3 of season 4’s Battle Pass went live a few hours ago with Tuesday being the weekly reset day. As per usual, you’ll need the Battle Pass (950 V-Bucks) to be able to access and complete these challenges and thus obtain those delicious rewards. Don’t fret if you don’t have the Battle Pass yet, all challenges are retroactive, so you can complete these challenges at a later date. As long as you don’t wait an entire season, of course.

Below is a list of the seven challenges for week 3 and how to complete them.

Revive players (5 revives)
As of update 4.2 the ‘watch a replay’ challenge has been replaced by this instead. Fairly simple, but can be a tad time consuming if you don’t play with a bunch of mates. To complete this challenge you need to either play Duos, Squads (premade or fill) or 50v50. Find a downed teammate and revive them for credit, do it five times and you’re finished. At the time of writing 50v50 is currently in rotation, which presents a very convenient and quick way to get your 5 revives as you can revive anyone on your team, not just in your squad.

Deal damage with pistols to opponents (500 damage)
Your weekly do-damage-with-X-weapon challenge. This week is pistols, which includes: Revolvers, the Pistol (standard one), Suppressed Pistol and the Hand Cannon (Deagle). Killing the opponent with the weapon is not required. Scrounge whatever you can find and fire away.

Search chests in Lonely Lodge (7 chests)
Your typical ‘search the chests’ challenge we receive each week. This time the location is Lonely Lodge. While not a chest dense location, it’s usually not an antagonist dense location, either. Hopefully this means the competition over the chests won’t be as fierce as last week’s Greasy Grove. It will probably take a few games to get all 7 done regardless.

Search Rubber Duckies (10 Ducks…sitting in a row)
This is one of this week’s scavenger hunt challenges. Littered throughout the map are yellow rubber duckies (the kind you see in bathtubs and the like). You need to collect 10 of these duckies to finish this challenge. Very similar to the gnome challenge from season 3. We’ve written a detailed guide on how to complete this challenge.

Follow the treasure map found in Salty Springs
This is the other ‘search’ based Battle Pass challenge for week 3. Basically identical to the Tomato Town treasure map from week 1, with just the location and map shifted. Like the previous weeks, you can skip straight to the treasure if you happen to know where it’s buried. If you’re not motivated to find it on your own, or want those Battle Stars ASAP, we have you covered.

Sniper Rifles Eliminations (2 kills)
Your straightforward kill-them-with-a-specific-weapon challenge. Though, snipers can be difficult to get kills with in this game compared to other guns. The good news is you only need 2 eliminations to finish the challenge. So scrounge up a sniper and look for those people who love to stand still.

Eliminate opponents in Tilted Towers (3 kills)
Your other straightforward kill challenge. But this time based on location. You need to get 3 kills in tilted towers to finish this one. This is both a blessing and a curse. Tilted Towers can be quite the literal warzone at times, which means finding yourself at the lobby screen after a few seconds is all too easy. However, that also means there is almost guaranteed to be prey at Tilted Towers almost every game. If you get a lucky drop early on, getting those 3 kills within the first couple of minutes is a breeze. If not, try again, and again, and again…
