While Chapter 5 – Season 2 of Fortnite is all about Greek myths, it’s honestly beginning to feel like the OG Pump Shotgun is becoming an even bigger myth. Even if the much-beloved weapon returned for Fortnite OG, it was a brief reappearance and it hasn’t been seen anywhere since. So can you expect to see it in Season 2?
No, is the answer. The OG Pump remains vaulted in Battle Royale. However, the season does have the Gatekeeper Shotgun alongside the returning Hammer Pump Shotgun (the closest thing to the OG) and Frenzy Auto Shotgun for three shotguns in total, for those looking for shotguns aren’t exactly going to struggle for choice.
If you’re disappointed by the OG Pump still not being in the game, bear in mind that you can still use it any of the game’s Creative modes, it’s just in BR where it’s vaulted as, let’s be honest, it’s a very frustrating gun for newbies to get one-pumped by.
And it’s not like the gun will never return to the loot pool. Fortnite OG comes back sometime this year, and there’s an almost 100% chance the Pump will return with it.
