Bungie Rebooting The Marathon Series, Coming To PC & Consoles

Marathon

Bungie might just be known these days as the team that created Halo before moving on to pioneering the live service genre with Destiny, but before those days, Bungie created a first-person shooter series by the name of Marathon. The series has laid dormant for a few decades at this point, but Bungie are bringing it back in a brand new game set to launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S. Check out the debut trailer at the top of the page.

The official website reveals more details about the game, with players taking on the role of a Runner, exploring the ruins of a massive ghost ship hanging in low orbit. With hints of riches and discoveries to be found amongst the carnage, you’ll head into the ship, get what you can and get out before someone else caves your skull in.
