Assassin’s Creed Origins came out of left-field when it was announced, but after its success, fans were sure that the next game in the series would use the same style and gameplay. The sequel, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was leaked unofficially, then announced officially, and at E3 we got the first proper sneak peak at the gameplay and story.
Taking place in ancient Greece, the game lets you play as male or female, has romance options and even branching dialogue, for the first time in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

– The game will let you play as Alexios or Kassandra, and although Ubisoft has stated that Kassandra is the canon option, as the novelization is going to be about her, they’ve also reinforced the fact that “there is no right or wrong way to play the game”
– Although the modern day parts aren’t optional, there will be ways to experience more of it, based on the choices you make in the game.
– You can pet and tame a lot of animals in the game.
