Hot on the heels of the nightmarish Unpeely and other leaked skins from the v13.30 update, it looks like Fortnite will be having another TikTok crossover with the Out West emote.
Based on the titular song by Jackboys, Travis Scott and Young Thug, the Out West Challenge was started by Nicole Bloomgarden in late 2019 before it was picked up in February as part of the #outwestchallenge, then going on to become huge following Ellen Degeneres posting it on her account. Usher would also get involved and get thousands of likes for his interpretation, as well as countless other TikTokers.

There’s no release date or price for the Out West emote in Fortnite at this time of writing, though it will likely come as part of the Icon Series. This will be the second time Travis Scott has appeared in Fortnite following the release of his skin and him holding a special concert.
Epic have been licensing more and more real world emotes and songs to use within Fortnite over the past year, Rick Astley’s Never Gonna emote kicking things off.
Most recently, Renegade, another TikTok dance challenge, was added to the game as an emote. This just goes to show how much more Fortnite is becoming like the metaverse of PlayStation Home where worlds and properties collide.
Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
