It follows the story of Leonardo Watch, a man who possesses mysterious eyes capable of controlling time. Together with the organization Libra, they band together to protect Hellsalem’s Lot from several supernatural monsters.
The anime debuted in April 2015, followed by Season 2, named “Kekkai Sensen & Beyond,” in October 2017. After the previous season finished airing, Season 3 has yet to be released by the studio. This leaves fans wondering when Kekkai Sensen: Season 3 will be aired.

The first two seasons were adapted by the studio Bones, so they’ll likely be the ones to animate Season 3. They’re also known for animating other anime, such as My Hero Academia, Bungou Stray Dogs, and Mob Psycho 100.
Many people were satisfied with the previous seasons’ animation, mainly because of Studio Bones’ consistency as an animation studio. Since they were able to create a well-received anime adaptation a few years ago, it’ll be no shock if they return for Kekkai Sensen: Season 3. Still, since there’s no word from them as of writing this, a new studio might pick up the anime instead.
