How To Get The Fornite Samsung Glow Skin

The newest promotional skin is here.

Fortnite and Samsung have teamed up once again to offer players the chance to download exclusive skins for those who own select Galaxy devices, making them some of the rarest skins across all of Fortnite. Glow, a fancy recolour of Fate which comes equipped with an emote by the name of Levitate, is the newest promotional skin.

Glow follows Ikonik, the K-Pop skin with the catchy Scenario emote, and Galaxy, the rather garish default skin with the galaxy on his body, as the newest Samsung crossover skin, and it’s available right now.

A Legendary skin, Glow does require a few steps before you are able to acquire her, the most important being that you must have a specific Samsung device and that you must have credit card info. However, you can also gift Glow to a friend if you don’t want the skin.

Available Samsung devices for the Glow skin: Note10, Note10+ or Note10+ 5G, S10e, S10, S10+ or S10 5G, Note9, S9, S9+, Note8, S8, S8+ or S8 Active, S7, S7 edge or S7 Active, Tab S6, Tab S4, Tab S3 or Tab S3 Wi-Fi, A9, A70, A80 or A90.

Once you’re sure you have the right Samsung device, your first step to unlocking Glow is to head on over to the Galaxy Store app from your device. You can easily use your search app function to find it. You will be asked, however, to make a Samsung account. Luckily, if you already have a Google account, you can just use it to make a new Samsung account very quickly if you don’t already have one.

Once there, search for and start downloading the Fortnite Installer app. This should be so popular that it’s on the front page of the store.

When the download is complete, you will then have to go into the app and start installing Fortnite Mobile proper. This is roughly around a 5GB update, so you might want to leave your device on charge while it’s downloading.

With Fortnite now installed on your mobile, you will need to log-in using your Epic credentials.

It’s hugely important that you remember to log-in to your primary Epic account and not a smurf, as well as the one that is connected to multiple platform. For instance, if you want to use Glow across all available platforms, such as the PS4 and PC, make sure the account connected is the right one.

All being well, you should then be logged in, at which point you should move over to the in-game Store. It’s the V-Bucks icon in the Battle Royale lobby if you’re unfamiliar.

You should see Glow sitting there waiting to be redeemed for free. Select her and you should see the following screen.

At this point, the game and Samsung asks you to make sure you have a credit or debit card assigned to your Samsung account to make the purchase go through. Don’t worry, no money will come out of your account.

Once that’s all set up, you can either purchase or gift Glow.

If you’ve used the right account, you will also be able to use Glow on other platforms. See the skin below on a PC.

There is no end date for the promotion, but Ikonik was available from Season 8 until now so you probably have plenty of time to get Glow before she goes away forever.
