UPDATE 1: the Bandage Bazooka has been disabled in Fortnite at this time of writing dude to a technical issue with the item. Epic hasn’t specified when they will be back.
The fifth week of Season 1 of Fortnite: Chapter 2 is here, which means that we are now halfway through the season. That’s pretty bonkers when you think about it. It seems like Epic have already run out of interesting challenges for the season as the latest ones, The Lowdown, are not what you would call inspired at all.
Here’s the lowdown on the Lowdown challenges, along with simple guides for each.
Fortnite The Lowdown Challenges
Search Chests at E.G.O. outposts (0/7)
If you don’t know where the E.G.O. outposts are, they are landmarks on the map that aren’t named and are basically like military outposts. Here’s where they all are.
Deal damage to opponents while riding in a Motorboat (0/500)
Whether by shooting the rockets or using a gun to fire off as a passenger, this one is very straightforward. There should be motorboats near every body of water.
Visit different E.G.O. outposts (0/5)
Similar to the first challenge, but you just need to visit the landmarks. They’re pretty spread out, so here’s that guide again.
Assault Rifle Eliminations (0/3)
Not even sure if there’s anything worth typing here, gang. Just eliminate three enemies in any mode with an AR. Team Rumble will help you get this done quick.
Revive a teammate in different matches (0/3)
You will need to drop into either Duos or Squads to get this one done. Likely a challenge you will complete through natural play.
Search Ammo Boxes in different Named Locations (0/7)
Ammo Boxes now have a 100% drop rate so this is much easier. Here’s the entire map with named locations.
Heal teammates with a Bandage Bazooka (0/200)
The Bandage Bazooka is a new healing item that takes up two item slots but regenerates its bandages. Simply “shoot” hurt teammates with one to complete this challenge.
Eliminations at Craggy Cliffs or Salty Springs (0/3)
Craggy Cliffs will be quieter, while Salty Springs is usually Hell on Earth. We’d recommend the former named location.
Reboot a teammate (0/1)
When your teammate dies, pick up their reboot card and take it to a reboot van. Easy. Must be in Duos or Squads.
Assist teammates with Eliminations (0/7)
This will be earned through natural play during Duos, Squads, or even Team Rumble.
Search the hidden ‘N’ found in The Lowdown Loading Screen (0/1)
