Fortnite x Daft Punk: All You Need To Know

Epic isn’t slowing down with its crossover machine, and now it’s Daft Punk’s turn to step through the Rift. The Daft Punk Experience is pitched as Fortnite’s first “immersive tribute,” a big interactive museum/theme park built around the duo’s four decades of disco helmets, robot vocals, and Nile Rodgers being very cool.

The whole thing opens on September 27 at 2:00 PM ET/9:00 PM BST, with the pre-event lobby opening half an hour earlier. Yes, it’s time to queue up for a digital nightclub. Here’s the lowdown on everything.

What’s Inside The Experience

Rather than just plonking Thomas and Guy-Manuel as skins and calling it a day, Epic have gone for a full cosmic playground. You’ll jump between themed rooms:

Dream Chamber Studios – remix Daft Punk tracks or mash their catalogue into new Frankenstein mixes.

Robot Rock Arena – laser down waves of robots with a weapon that fires soundwaves.

Around the World – cobble together a LEGO music video. That sounds cool.

Daft Club – a digital dance floor that never closes, unless Epic decides to vault it.

The set dressing comes courtesy of Hervet Manufacturier, longtime Daft Punk collaborators, so expect furniture that is pretty authentic to the band and their brand.

But what about them skins?
