Fortnite Season 8 Unvaults The Harpoon, Charge Shotgun & Lever Action

Is that it?

As is the case with every new season of Fortnite, some weapons get vaulted and some get unvaulted just to spice up the loot pool. Season 8 offers plenty of new weapons, but not many have been unvaulted from what we can see so far.

According to HYPEX, just a handful of old weapons have been re-added into the game. Here are the unvaulted weapons for Season 8.

– Harpoon Gun
– Automatic Sniper Rifle
Charge Shotgun

The main unvaulting here is the Harpoon, a really handy weapon for fishing and yoinking that was added at the start of Chapter 2 as one of only a couple of items in the widely unpopular Season 1 which went on forever.

That’s not a lot of unvaulted weapons, but it’s worth bearing in mind that this is just at a glance — we are currently looking for more weapons that have been unvaulted in Season 8.

It’s also worth remembering that some classic weapons are coming back in different forms, like the Sideways Rifle and Sideways Minigun, that offers remixes on your old favourites.

Also, over the course of the season, Epic will be asking players to vote on the weapons they want to return on a semi-regular basis by using their Gold Bars at funding stations. So while there may not be many unvaulted items on launch day, give it a couple of weeks and the loot pool will be very different indeed.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
