It’s one of the best weeks for challenges as we hit Week 8 of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3, one that asks you to be in and out of vehicles while making the most of the new cars recently added to the game.
As well as driving basically across the map in a time limit, you have to get behind the wheel of a motorboat and do all of the fun elim and harvesting challenges as always. There’s also the team challenge for the week that might be unbeatable unless you drop in with a squad.

An eclectic bunch of challenges this week that follow a similar template that Epic have grown fond of but with a few key tweaks to keep things fresh.

Search Chests at Frenzy Farm (7)
Frenzy is one of the most popular landing spots in Chapter 2 and it is absolutely stacked with chest. This challenge can be done over as many matches as it takes, find Frenzy at F3/F4 on the grid.
Eliminations at Salty Springs (3)
It’s getting a bit questionable how many challenges Epic is putting in Salty Springs. Do you think they will be getting rid of it soon? Anyway, drop at C4/D4, loot up and hope for the best.
Complete the boat time trial at Motorboat Mayhem
Originally intended to releasing during week 4, Motorboat Mayhem is a landmark near Misty Meadows with loads of ramps for races. Find the starting ring and then follow each one that pops up within the time limit.
Drive a car from Retail Row to Pleasant Park in less than 4 minutes
The trickiest challenge of the season to date? Cars have a 1 in 3 chance of spawning and even the fuel levels are random, so you may want to fuel up at a gas station along the way. Follow the road for the quickest route.
Collect Wood from Holly Hedges (500)
A very easy challenge, simply pickaxe the nine million hedges at Holly Hedges for 500 wood in total and this challenge will be ticked off your list. Holly Hedges is situated at B5 on the grid.
Deal damage to opponents from inside a vehicle
This can be related to cars, Choppas, or motorboats. While in a vehicle and not driving, press L2/LT on a controller or left click on mouse to lean out and start shooting opponents.
Search Ammo Boxes at Lazy Lake (7)
Lazy Lake is a fairly massive POI in the south of the map that is absolutely overflowing with loot. Drop into any of its tallest buildings and start looting away and you will eventually search the 7 you need for this challenge. Loot Lake is at F6 on the grid.
Completing each challenge nets you 35,000 XP for your Battle Pass. Don’t forget that there are daily challenges and other things to complete for even more XP over the course of the season.
