Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 7 has been of the biggest, most exciting seasons of Fortnite this whole chapter. From aliens to cow weapons to some eye-catching summer skins, it’s been a pretty universally beloved season, but nothing can ever stay the same in Fortnite. In that case, when will Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 7 end?

According to information on Epic’s website, Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 7 will conclude on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, meaning that Season 8 should begin on Monday, September 13th as Mondays are usually the start of a new season.

This means that Season 7 will run for 96 days in total, making it a pretty average season in terms of length as far as Chapter 2 goes. Seasons go into unofficial overtime these days, meaning that they seem to last longer than the traditional ten weeks by default.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 7 Story

There’s bound to be plenty of story developments between now and the end of Season 7, or at least you’d hope so. Fortnite has picked up a lot of really bad habits in its storytelling, especially when it comes to answering any of its questions without posing loads more.

Hopefully we will know everything we need to know about Doctor Slone, IO, and who these aliens are by the time Season 7 concludes, including where Jonesy is and what happened to The Foundation. Both of those characters have just kind of been forgotten.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 7 Battle Pass

Don’t forget that Fortnite operates on a FOMO system with its Battle Passes, meaning that you won’t be able to earn Battle Pass rewards after the season ends.

As for your Battle Stars, those will automatically get converted if you haven’t redeemed them for rewards at the end of the season and unlock the items in your Battle Pass in the order they are “traditionally” available.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
