This Week in Gaming: Styx, Nier & Silent Hill’s Birthday

The world of gaming never seems to stop. Just when you’ve caught your breath, a new game comes along that will demand your attention and tell you to ignore all responsibilities. If anything, there are too many games right now – my back catalogue is starting to spiral out of control.

While I try to balance the new Styx, Horizon Zero Dawn, and personal hygiene, let’s look ahead to what this week in gaming has in store for us.

March 13th
– God of War II turns ten years old.
Journey turns five years old.
– Silent Hill: Downpour turns five years old. There have been no Silent Hill console games since and there may never be another.

March 14th
– Fire Emblem Gaiden turns twenty five years old.
– Dead Rising 4 comes to PC. Check out our review here.
– Red Barton & The Sky Pirates comes to mobile devices, Mac and PC.
– Styx: Shards of Darkness comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Our review will drop on the day.
– Trove moves past its beta and officially comes to PS4 and Xbox One.
Battlefield 1‘s They Shall Not Pass released for Premium owners.

March 15th
– Catomic: Cat Space Program comes to mobile devices.
– Dimension Jump comes to PC.
– Waking the Glares arrives on PC.
Salt and Sanctuary turns one year old.

March 16th
– The Keep launches on PC.
– Evolve and Heavy Weapon come to Xbox Games with Gold.
– SXSW Gaming kicks off.

March 17th
– NieR: AUTOMATA comes to PC. Expect our review soon.
– 2Dark arrives on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Look out for our review for this one, too.
– Antagonist drops on PC.
– Danganronpa 1.2 Reload launches on PS4.
– FlatOut 4: Total Insanity lands on PS4 and Xbox One
– SENRAN KAGURA ESTIVAL VERSUS comes to PC.
– Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs (crikey) launches on PC.

March 18th
– Pokken Tournament turns a year old.
– GamerCon kicks off.

March 19th
– Inindo: Way of the Ninja turns twenty five years old.
