Starfield: Where To Find Aldumite

Aldumite

Aldumite (or Ad) is a unique tier 4 resource that is found infrequently across Starfield’s 1000 planets. You’ll need it to craft rarer recipes that can be unlocked towards the midgame.

As this resource is so rare, there might just be 1 planet that houses Aldumite. Scanning planets and moons will tell you the resources they offer, and this is the best way to spot Aldumite. However, you can only view this valuable resource in the Starmap once you have unlocked the Scanning skill at level 4.

We have listed the location where you can grab Aldumite for yourself below:

  • Schrodinger II (Schrodinger System)

Fortunately, the resource can be mined once you touch down on the planet’s surface. To do this, you simply need to find the Aldumite deposit and mine it with your Cutter. The resource will then appear in your inventory after you’ve successfully mined it.

Using your hand scanner will allow you to spot the resource more easily from afar. You should always have it equipped when out on the hunt for Aldumite.

The best way may not necessarily be the cheapest, but it certainly is the easiest way to obtain Aldumite. Vendors across the settled systems can have the resource for sale, so keep your eyes focused on the stocks of the available vendors listed below:

  • Jemison Mercantile (New Atlantis Spaceport)
  • Mining League (Neon)
  • Midtown Minerals (Akila City)

Points of interest, like caves and NPC outposts, can net you the resource if you’re lucky, especially the ones found on Schrodinger II.

In addition, you can also find Aldumite in corpses, crates, or miscellaneous items you can pick up while out on your travels. Given the rarity of this resource, it’s a very unreliable farming method, but keep your eyes peeled like a true Bethesda scavenger, and you may find more interesting items than Aldumite.
