Blizzard have announced that they’ll be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Starcraft II by adding a host of new changes that’ll start with today’s PTR update and run right through to the upcoming release of Patch 5.0. These changes and additions will bring a variety of fan requested features to the game.

Perhaps the biggest addition will be the changes coming to the game’s Galaxy Map Editor. It’ll now become much easier for players to create and experience custom campaign maps through the in-game Starcraft II Arcade. Custom campaigns will also become much smoother experiences, and it’ll even be easier to create maps thanks to the most recent PTR patch.

As for other additions, the 10th anniversary update will also introduce a variety of new achievements for every single campaign mission, and completing them all will net you the Stone Announcer reward. Players will also be able to replay the level 1-15 progression for any maxed out co-op commander up to three times, and doing so will unlock a new Prestige Talent, which can radically change how you approach missions.

Will you be playing Starcraft II in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary? Sound off in the comments.
