Finding water in Sons of the Forest, especially in the early goings, is hard enough even without a clan of cannibals on your back. Staying hydrated is key to staying alive and keeping your energy levels high, so you’re going to want to carry some water around you by finding a Flask. Well, making a Flask.
To create the Flask in Sons of the Forest, players must find the 3D Printer, a special machine in the south of an island inside a cave. Use the screenshot and video below to track it down, it’s not too far from the crashed helicopter.
Once you’ve reached the 3D Printer location, pick up some of the Printer Resin in the room and approach the console. Cycle through the options with R, then press E to spend 100ml of Printer Resin and craft the Printed Flask after a 15 second wait.
To actually fill it with water, equip it by finding it in your inventory on the left and then lift clicking, then take it to any body of water and hold E to fill the flask with water. You can left click at any time to take a sip, or go into your inventory and right click to drink.
