Redo of Healer: Season 2 – Everything You Should Know

Revenge is only the beginning

Redo of Healer

Mangaka Rui Tsukiyo gained widespread notoriety after his dark fantasy harem light novel received an anime adaptation. Although, it wasn’t the animation that blew away onlookers but the frequent inappropriate adult content in Redo of Healer.

Maturity aside, well, everyone has got a taste, and for those who actually enjoyed the explicit scenarios, Redo of Healer: Season 2 is the only thing they’re wondering about. Regrettably, the anime hasn’t been renewed thus far, and chances aren’t looking too bright. Still, if you’d like to know more about the sequel, here’s a quick rundown.

When Is Redo of Healer: Season 2 Coming Out?

Currently, there’s no word on Redo of Healer: Season 2, so for the moment it’s anyone’s guess. Maybe the intense backlash is to blame or there’s just not a big enough fan base, either way, you’ll have to sit back tight for a year or two at least.

If you didn’t know already, Rui Tsukiyo is also the author of the recent hit isekai The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, and it too received an anime adaptation in late 2021. By the looks of it, we may actually see a second of this anime before Redo of Healer: Season 2 as a result of popular demand, but no reason not to be hopeful otherwise.

What Is Redo of Healer: Season 2 About? (Spoiler Alert)

The anime has taken quite a different approach to the story than the manga and light novel, so there are a couple of variations, and due to them, we can’t be sure whether Redo of Healer: Season 2 will follow an original pattern or stick to the source material.

The anime left off around roughly Chapter 30 of the manga. The plot going forward will continue to entail Keyaru’s revenge against everyone who wronged him, especially Bullet and Jioral. The overlying main goal of defeating the Demon Lord will continue to play out until later when Keyaru finally decides to put an end to her tyranny.

Which Studio Is Making Redo of Healer: Season 2?

The steamy animation of the first season was provided by Studio TNK, the makers of other similar shows such as High School DxD and School Days. There’s no confirmation on who’ll produce Redo of Healer: Season 2, but it should be Studio TNK once again since there’s no reason to suspect otherwise.

After hearing that TNK animated Highschool DxD, it instantly makes sense why Redo of Healer was made by them too, as they’re both over-the-top harem anime. And seeing that the visuals weren’t a cause for complaint, hopefully, there’s no shale up there.

Where Will Redo of Healer: Season 2 Be Aired?

As you might’ve figured out already, we aren’t exactly talking about a family-friendly anime here, so it’s no wonder that Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Netflix don’t have it available.

Apparently, HiDive is the only service that has the anime streaming right now, and the best bet is that Redo of Healer: Season 2 will air on HiDive when it officially releases as well. Due to the series’ more mature themes, it’s pretty hard to find a good place to watch it, and if HiDive isn’t how you roll, buying the Blu-ray edition would be a better alternative.
