In what is sure to be distressing news for all six people who like to play as her, Rainbow Six Siege’s Clash has been removed from the game for the foreseeable future. Again.
Ubisoft made the announcement following the discovery of an exploit, though exactly what the exploit was isn’t abundantly clear. That said, it might have something to do with her shield, as it was previously to blame for her removal last year.
Update: Clash Deactivation
We are deactivating Clash today. We have become aware of an exploit, and Clash will not be available for play until we have resolved the issue.

This marks the second, nearly third time that Clash has been removed from Siege due to an exploit. The last time was in December 2019 during the Christmas break, leading to crying children everywhere, but she made a return with the 4.2 patch.
Clash ranks somewhere near the bottom of Operator picks for Siege in a competitive sense, her shield being a very irritating gadget for most, resulting in her often getting banned. There’s a conspiracy that people keep finding exploits so that she gets removed so she doesn’t need to be picked during the ban phase, which is certainly creative.
Introduced during Operation Grim Sky as a Defender, Clash has a three armour rating and one for speed. Here’s hoping she makes a speedy recovery, or else Bikini may storm Ubisoft HQ.
Rainbow Six Siege is out now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions will arrive at some point in the future.
