PlayStation Studios’ Opening Animation Disrespects Knack

Where's Knack 3, cowards?

PlayStation Studios

Sony have revealed PlayStation Studios, a new umbrella for PlayStation exclusive titles such as God of War, with a new Marvel-esque opening animation that’ll play before exclusives. Check it out for yourself below, and see if you can spot their most heinous error.

Yes, Sony have put together an animation celebrating the best PlayStation exclusives yet refuse to acknowledge the GOAT, Knack. Whether this is simply a clerical error or some form of Knack erasure remains to be seen, but we won’t forget this. Rest assured.

This new animation apparently won’t be ready for the launches of both The Last of Us: Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, but will play before all future Sony games, even if they appear on other platforms, such as Horizon: Zero Dawn’s PC release. No, it won’t be ready for that either. Are you as betrayed as we are regarding the lack of Knack? Voice your displeasure in the comments.
