After what has felt like an absolute eternity, we finally have a release date for The Deep End Games’ much anticipated horror title, Perception. Shared via GameSpot, the brand new trailer once more showcases the game’s stunning art style and introduces some of the horrors our blind protagonist, Cassie, will be facing.

In a similar vein to titles such as Alien: Isolation and Amnesia, players will be employing ‘run-and-hide’ tactics as they explore the creepy New England mansion, inhabited by something known as ‘the presence’. Being blind, Cassie has only her ability to hear, in addition to her phone and her cane, to keep herself one step ahead of the danger, using echolocation to navigate and ‘illuminate’ her surroundings.

Perception is set to release simultaneously on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 30th May.
