Override: Mech City Brawl Announced For PS4, Xbox & PC

Override Mech City Brawl

The Balance Inc and Modus Games have revealed their upcoming mech brawler, Override: Mech City Brawl, and quite frankly, we couldn’t be more on board if we tried. Just look at the trailer below and tell us you’re not immediately sold, because you’re not, you’re probably dead inside.

Players will be able to control one of 12 mechs, each with a completely different play style, and take part in epic city destroying battles with up to four combatants, either through local split-screen or online play. These fights will take place in a variety of real world locations, including Tokyo, San Francisco, Egypt and more.

There will also be plenty of modes available at launch, including a single-player campaign, versus modes, the ability to customise your mechs in the Garage and a strange party co-op mode where different players control different robot limbs. Sounds like it’ll be right laugh, especially after a few drinks.

If Override sounds like your cup of tea, or motor oil in this instance, there will be a closed beta from August 10-12, which you can sign up for at the Override website. The full game will be launching on PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 4th, rounding out what looks to be a incredible fourth quarter for gaming.
