During last night’s episode of WWE Raw, it was confirmed that UFC Hall of Famer and current WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey will be available as a pre-order bonus for the upcoming WWE 2K19, which won’t be coming to the Switch this year. Praise be to Rusev for that news.
The new trailer continues a run of WWE 2K trailers being better than the actual game. We see Ronda getting ready for a match in the locker room, interspersed with audio of the late, great Roddy Piper talking about how much he admires Ronda. It’s actually kind of emotional, but if anyone asks, those onion cutting ninjas stopped by.
Ronda will be joining Rey Mysterio as a pre-order bonus, though many would have liked to have seen Ronda as part of the launch roster. Still, it’s good to see something being done to make the women’s division more important in WWE games than it usually is. Maybe we’ll even get a Women’s MyCareer Mode to boot.
