WWE 2K19 Release Date And Million Dollar Challenge Announced

WWE 2K19

During a WWE 2K19 press conference, which was conducted by a rather awkward AJ Styles, it was announced that WWE 2K19 will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 9th, with The Phenomenal One adorning the game cover. The tagline for the game will be “Never Say Never”, which makes sense considering that’s what gamers are saying about whether or not WWE 2K games can actually be good.

Alongside the announcement, 2K and AJ have revealed The Million Dollar Challenge, where players have to send an image of them completing an “as yet to be announced” mode, before having to compete against fellow winners in the semi-finals. In the final round, whoever wins will have to face AJ Styles. In the game, obviously, not the actual ring. Interestingly, the challenge is only for PS4 and Xbox One players, probably because PC could just mod their way to victory.

Honestly, it was a bit of a weird conference, including some laggy phone calls from journalists and a lot of questions about how does it feel to be on the cover. If you were hoping for an actual gameplay trailer, you’d be disappointed.
