We finally had a solid look at the trailer for the heavily anticipated Straight Outta Compton, the the film based on one of hip-hop’s most diabolical and influential groups. Outspoken, loud and rebellious it can only be N.W.A.
From what is seen so far, it looks like we are going to be in for a rollercoaster jammed pack with booming music made iconic by the band, a strong storyline lead by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube and directed by F. Gary Gray famous for such works as Friday, Set it Off and The Italian Job. Cast includes O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ice Cube’s son, playing as his father and plenty of blossoming up and coming African-American actors.
Straight Outta Compton is due out August 14, 2015.
