During today’s Indie World showcase from Nintendo, a new indie brawler was announced that combines characters from a variety of indie games. It’s called Bounty Battle, and it’s heading to all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch) this Summer. Check out the debut trailer below.
The platform fighter from developers Dark Screen Games will combine characters from popular indie games like Guacamelee!, Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, Owlboy, Flinthook and so many more. The press release promises over 25 different characters from across 20 indie games, making for a packed and varied roster. Each character will also have their very own minion they can summon to turn the tide of a fight.
If the sound of Bounty Battle tickles your pickle, Signature Edition will be selling a special physical version of the game, only available for PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. The package includes 4 enamel pins, a numbered collector’s certificate signed by the developers, a 34-page booklet detailing every fighter, a foam insert “Sierra” box and some alternative boxart on a special sleeve. Pre-orders are live now on the Signature Edition store.
