With GTA V now rotating out of the free game offerings on the Epic Games Store, a new free game is up for grabs, and it’s one that was hinted at by leaks on social media already.

Not long after GTA V was revealed, an image began circulating that showed Civilization VI would follow Rockstar’s never-ending monolith. With Civilization VI now up for grabs, it looks like that that previous leak was accurate.

From now until May 28th, you can lose yourself in the tyranny simulator that is Civilization VI before you try to end Handsome Jack’s tyranny in Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. And finally, from June 4th, you can try to deal with the tyranny of Ark: Survival Evolved’s UI.

These could, of course, not be the games revealed after all — the leaker could just have picked a random game out of a potential millions and mocked the image up and got lucky. Yeah, maybe. Or Epic may even change some games around before they are officially revealed.

Epic really are going all out with their free offerings. Though they’ve been giving games out for free for well over a year to try and get new players aboard, the caliber of those on offer during the Epic Mega Sale is a step above. GTA V was so popular that it made the whole thing explode, even making Fortnite inaccessible.

To get Civilization VI or any of the free upcoming games, all you need to do is get yourself an Epic account and also enable 2FA. You don’t need to spend a dime on EGS to be eligible for these offers.

In other Epic news, they recently revealed the triangle-centric Unreal Engine 5, which Fortnite will be migrated to in 2021.
