With Fortnite v8.50 bringing back Marvel and presumably and orange justice-ing Thanos, we shouldn’t be surprised to also see that we are getting Avengers themed cosmetics very soon. According to leaks, Black Widow is one of them and the other is due for very soon.
Here’s a glimpse at Black Widow, who should be available as soon as the downtime for v8.50 is over. All leaks are courtesy of Hypex.
“Head to the Item Shop to purchase the Marvel’s Black Widow Outfit and Avengers Set, the first of two Marvel Sets coming to Fortnite!”
So it looks like we will be getting a couple of cosmetics to go along with the skin, which is neat. There’s no news on rarity or price just yet, but it’s a safe bet that anything related to Disney is going to be on the most expensive tier. Expect Black Window to be Legendary and 2000 V-Bucks.*
*UPDATE: she is of the “Marvel” rarity (whatever that means) and costs 1500 V-Bucks.
Next up, it looks like Overtime challenges will be returning if these skin styles are to be believed. All of these variants of the Season 8 Battle Pass skins follow the same pattern that we saw for Season 7: tweaks on the established skins that can be earned through completing challenges.

While it’s unclear if Epic could really take another hit with the money lost on a free Battle Pass, the money earned from the Avengers cosmetics could turn them into billionaires, so you never know.
UPDATE: leakers have discovered the next Marvel character to be released as a skin to Fortnite: Star-Lord.

No exact dates on his addition or his in-game appearance just yet, but it will presumably be within the next week. Whatever the case, he and Rust Lord will make a formidable pair.
