Fortnite v10.40 Leaked Skins: Deadfall, Manic, Slingshot, Red Jade & More (UPDATED)

New wallet ruiners ahoy.

Though Fortnite Season X is rapidly coming to a close, that doesn’t mean Epic are about to let their skin game drop. Though we’ve already seen a lot of these leaked v10.40 skins drop thanks to dataminers, we’ve now even had a closer look.

The last update, v10.31, didn’t provide much in the way of cosmetics, but it already appears as if v10.40 is making up for that.

Here’s a composite of all the leaked skins and cosmetics found by FunGamesLeaks.

Fortnite v10.40 Leaked Skins

A full rundown of the skin names found in the files so far:

– Brite Blaster
– Red Jade
– Deadfall
– Slingshot
– Ruby
– Snakepit
– Vice
– Knockout
– Manic

A lot of these are, admittedly, just recolours of some fan favourites. The yellow camo ones among them look very similar indeed, so they may be part of a bundle or are just selectable styles.

Lucas7Yoshi has also found some additional skins in the files, which you can find below courtesy of Fortnite News.

The additional skins are:

– Bash

The same leaker has also found some variants on older skins, which will presumably be unlocked as part of this season’s Overtime.

Prior to the update, a new Samsung skin was also discovered in the game’s files. The Glow skin will be available to all Samsung owners with modern devices, though the exact method of redeeming and claiming the skin is not clear just yet. Below is courtesy of FortTory.

The GLOW skin will replace the Ikonik skin on September 27th, as confirmed by Samsung. You will be able to gift it to a friend if you don’t want it.

Don’t forget that although these skins have been found in the files, that doesn’t necessarily mean they will come to the game, or at least anytime soon. These leaked skins may arrive in the Item Shop one day and actually look entirely different — remember what they did to Gemini?

There are a lot of leaks out there right now for the big Season X event, which many have speculated will lead to an entirely new Fortnite map. If you want to avoid spoilers until the season ends sometime early in October, we’d recommend you stay far away from Twitter.

As already announced by Epic, Fortnite Season X will feature bots to help new players acclimate to the game. As for what will go down the rest of the season, your guess is as good as ours, but expect something spooky for Halloween.
