Fortnite Season 7 Guide: Week 7 Battle Pass Challenges Walkthrough

Fortnite's Week 7 Battle Pass challenges for Season 7 are fairly easy, but we're here to help you out anyway.

Week 7 of Season 7 is here and Epic is holding course with their chosen reward structure introduced in Season 4. 950 V-bucks to access the Battle Pass specific rewards and challenges, while the three first challenges remain accessible to everyone (i.e. those without the Battle Pass).

This week’s challenges are once again fairly standard, consisting of your usual multi-stage challenges, search/location based challenges and combat (damage and elimination based) challenges with this week’s most unique challenge asking you to destroy a piloted Stormwing, which may take some doing.

Visit all Expedition Outposts (7 Outposts)
This is supposed to be this week’s ‘in-depth’ search/exploration style challenge. These particular landmarks were introduced with the Season 7 map changes. If you’re looking for our dedicated article on their locations and how to knock the challenge out quick, we have our Expedition Outpost locations guide here.

Use a Rift of Rift-To-Go in different matches (3 times)
Pretty self explanatory. Either find a Rift or find the Rift-To-Go item (purple, looks like a snow globe) and go for a wild ride. You can still find a good collection of Rifts at the Viking Village located at B6 on the main map’s grid. The underground base in Wailing Woods also contains a guaranteed Rift in the same location every match. Check out our Rifts locations guide here.

Pistol eliminations (3 eliminations)
All this challenge requires is you achieve three eliminations of as many matches as it takes (doesn’t need to be the same or different matches). The pistol family is in a pretty good place right now, with most of them being effective and serving different purposes (sniping, close range, etc.).

Multi-stage: Land at different locations (5 stages)
Your somewhat typical ‘land at different locations’ multi-stage challenge. This one has five separate stages asking you to land in different locations. The order is Salty Springs > Happy Hamlet > Wailing Woods > Junk Junction > Paradise Palms. Normally I’d mention you can only do one stage per game, but considering the nature of the challenge, you can only do it that way anyway.

Search Chests at Loot Lake of Frosty Flights (7 Chests)
An almost perfectly typical challenge involving searching chests. The difference this time is you have a choice of locations rather than a single one. Loot Lake and Frosty Flights aren’t related to each other in any way (odd coupling, if I’m honest) that I can discern. Regardless, seven chests over as many matches as you desire to complete this challenge. Frosty Flights and Loot Lake aren’t swimming in chests, but they’re not completely barren either and aren’t the most highly trafficked. Shouldn’t take too long.

Destroy flying X-4 Stormwings (1 Stormwing)
An oddly worded challenge. You only need to destroy one Stormwing, but this Stormwing must be in flight at the time. This means, someone had to have been piloting it at some stage (for it to you, you know, get in the air), but the pilot doesn’t have to die with the plane for you to receive credit. This is how it worked for me, at least as far as I can ascertain. This would be much easier in Squads with a bit of combined fire, or a very high DPS gun and an unattentive pilot (most people try to bail before their plane dies to avoid going down with it).

Multi-stage: Damage opponents in a single match (3 stages)
A fairly demanding challenge all things considered. This multi-stage challenge has three stages in total and each stage requires the same thing, just with increasing difficulty. The first stage requires you inflict 200 damage to opponents in a single match. The second stage requires 300 damage and final stage 400 damage. As per usual with the damage style challenges, you can cheese it a bit by playing squads/duos. Downed players still count towards damage done, even if they don’t count as more than one eliminations. With a single opponent now providing an extra 100 damage to chew through, it becomes a little easier.
