Fortnite Season 7 Guide: Week 10 Battle Pass Challenges

The final week for your Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass challenges is here.

Fortnite High Stakes

The final week (Week 10) of Fortnite Season 7 has arrived and with it the final slew of Battle Star granting challenges. The challenges this week are fairly straightforward, quick and easy. This is most likely an intentional move by Epic as you only have a single week to complete these before they’re phased out in favour of Season 8 changes (going so far as to include the general locations of the Shooting Galleries, which is a first). Therefore, this is your last week to obtain some easy Battle Stars (that don’t require level grinding or doing more time consuming challenges). So if there is a specific reward(s) you’re after before they’re locked away for the foreseeable future, now’s the time you get them done.

Fortnite Season 7: Week 10 Free Tier

Place a Mounted Turret or a Damage Trap in different matches (3 times) [5 Battle Stars] Nothing too exciting here. Traps aren’t the most common item type, but between the Mounted Turret and the Spike Trap, you shouldn’t have too much difficulty finding one or the other. Just remember: you’ll need a flat surface to place these, so either build one, or put one in a building.

Search Chests at Lazy Links or Dusty Divot (7 Chests) [5 Battle Stars] The very standard ‘search seven chests at two predefined locations’. The locations are Lazy Links and Dusty Divot and it’s the same seven chests that’ve been expected of us for a while now. Usual advice applies: try to land at either one of the locations when the Battle Bus passes a decent distance away from one of them (doubtful in the case of Dusty Divot, being dead centre) and hope someone else didn’t have the same idea.

Assault Rifle Eliminations(3 eliminations) [10 Battle Stars] Another very standard challenge. Last week was Shotguns, this week is Assault Rifles, another very powerful and common family of weapons. Either nabbing one early before everyone has found a weapon or finding a high quality one are fairly good ways of upping your odds of getting an elimination.

Deal damage with Scoped Weapons to opponents (200 Damage) [5 Battle Stars] A very standard challenge, with a unique ‘weapon family’. Scoped weapons are usually bound to the Sniper Rifle family (and the Thermal AR). But with the introduction of the Scoped Pistol you have another option. The only concern is Scoped Weapons are usually of the higher rarity, so you may struggle to find them.

Multi-stage: Get a score of 5 or more at each shooting gallery (3 stages) [1/2/3 Battle Stars] This is the week’s more ‘involved challenge’, asking you to travel to three separate Shooting Galleries and complete the marksman challenge there. The challenge ramps up in difficult with not only each round of targets, but also each location. You can find our dedicated article explaining the ins-and-outs as well as the exact Shooting Galleries locations here.

Visit Expedition Outposts in a single match (4 Outposts) [10 Battle Stars] Similar to Week 7’s challenge which asked you to visit every single Expedition Outpost. This challenge is basically a modified version, asking you to visit four of these outposts in a single match. This is definitely the more difficult ask of the two, but with a Stormwing and a map of all the Outposts, it’s still quite straightforward. Our map detailing the Expedition Outpost locations in Week 7 is still accurate.

Hit an opponent with a Chiller Grenade or Boogie Bomb in different matches (3 times) [10 Battle Stars] The final challenge for the Season is another fairly tried and true challenge. You need to hit an opponent with either the Chiller Grenade (the one that looks like a snowball and turns your feet into ice blocks) or a Boogie Bomb (disco ball, makes everyone hit dance). As the requirement is three times over three different matches, the hardest part becomes finding them consistently more than anything else, for which there is no special trick (besides maybe landing at Tilted Towers alone). In essence, this just becomes a random chance scavenger hunt as long as you can aim the grenades semi-reliably (as you get multiples per pick-up).
