Fortnite Season 5 Guide: Search Between Three Oversized Seats

The ever present treasure hunt challenge returns. Following on from week seven, week eight’s treasure hunt is of the ‘landmark’ variety, challenging you to find the treasure nestled between three specifics landmarks. This week, Epic asks you to search between three ‘Oversized Seats’.

Like every ‘find the treasure’ based challenge (that isn’t a ‘Road Trip’ one), you can skip straight to the location of the treasure if you already know where it is, bypassing quite a large bit of the challenge. If you’re not interested in how the treasure is found – or you’re in a hurry – just skip to the final section of the guide. For the curious amongst us, read on.

For those that want to tackle the challenge themselves, but don’t have the time to invest in sharpening their knowledge of the Fortnite map, I present a picture of the general treasure hunt location.

For the rest that simply want to see the answer or want to build upon their map knowledge for future Battle Pass challenges. I present a picture with each specific landmark circled and a small description of each location.

The giant ‘Wooden Seat’ is circled in blue, the giant ‘Toilet Seat’ is circled in pink and the giant ‘Container Seat’ is circled in orange. The ultimate goal, the treasure, is circled in red.

 

Oversized Wooden Seat

Thhere is no doubt this is the landmark that springs to mind instantly when reading the line ‘Oversized Seat’. In an unnamed town north of Flush Factory lies a pre-built wooden seat as the town’s ‘main attraction’. D8 on the main map’s grid.

 

Oversized Toilet Seat

The other ‘Oversized Seat’ that springs to mind is the toilet seat signage in front of Flush Factory. Fairly self-explanatory, being a giant toilet seat. Located at D9 on the main map’s grid.

 

Oversized Container Seat

This one is considerably more tricky than the previous two, not actually being a ‘seat’ at all, just a bunch of assets arranged to look vaguely like a seat (though, if you want tp nitpick, you could say that about all of them). Epic arranged a bunch of shipping containers, pallets and boxes into the vague shape of a seat. You can find it in the warehouse district to the northeast of Flush Factory. E9 on the main map’s grid.

 

The Treasure

Between these three chairs lies the treasure, atop a hill located at D9 on the main map’s grid. There is a bald patch on the southern area of the hill, the treasure rests on this patch. Dig it up and you’re done.

This challenge and the ‘the ten rifts’ challenge are the two more involved Battle Pass challenges for week eight of season 5.
