Fortnite Midas’ Mission: Search Different Golden Pipe Wrenches

It’s all kicking off in Fortnite at this time of writing. Not only do we have Travis Scott playing a few shows on the island, there’s also the final scheduled challenges and part 2 of Midas’ Mission to work through. One of these challenges asks you to Search Different Golden Pipe Wrenches found on the map.

Completing this challenge will set you closer on your way towards full completion of the Midas’ Mission challenges, which will allow you to choose between his Ghost and Shadow styles. It’s also the last week of challenges for Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2’s Battle Pass, though we expect Overtime challenges to be announced soon.

Here’s everything you need to know to Search Different Golden Pipe Wrenches in Fortnite.

Search Different Golden Pipe Wrenches Map

All of the locations for the Golden Pipe Wrenches are above, circled in a suitable yellow.

As you can see, they’re spread out pretty far and wide. Therefore, unless you can get yourself a vehicle, you may struggle to dust these all of in a single match.

As with all of these challenges, we recommend you drop into a game of Team Rumble so you don’t have to queue up again if you are eliminated. Being able to use glider redeploy is also a huge help.

Golden Pipe Wrenches Locations

Golden Pipe Wrench – Steamy Stacks

Steamy Stacks is the logical place to start with this challenge, it featuring the two “towers” you can use to gain some height and then move onto the next wrench.

You can find the Golden Pipe Wrench here by landing or building up to a tube that is just above the “A” in Steamy Stacks on the Fortnite map. H2 on the grid.

 

Golden Pipe Wrench – Dirty Docks

The Dirty Docks Pipe Wrench, which you should go for right after Steamy, is located underneath a shack that is seldom visited.

For easier reference, it is just beneath the “Y” in the Steamy Stacks lettering on the Fortnite map. Jump down into the water and then find the Wrench among the pipes. H4 on the grid.

 

Golden Pipe Wrench – Pipeman

The next logical place to visit for the challenge is the Pipeman, which you should be familiar with for a previous challenge from this Chapter.

Located deep in the south of the map, the Pipeman is a metal construct overlooking a cliff. Find the Wrench at the tip of his left arm. D8 on the grid.

 

Golden Pipe Wrench – West of Slurpy

You can find yet another Golden Pipe Wrench to the west of Slurpy Swamp in a weird bayou village that seems to be paying its respects to something weird.

Simply drop or travel here, venture into the middle of the village and then find the Golden Pipe Wrench at the foot of the idol. B6 on the Fortnite grid.

 

Golden Pipe Wrench – Lockie’s Lighthouse

The final spot for the Golden Pipe Wrench is a bit of a challenge favourite: Lockie’s Lighthouse. It’s a landmark that has popped up again and again in challenges.

Located right at the top of the map in the northwest, the Golden Pipe Wrench is at the very top of the lighthouse itself, so you ought to land on top of it or prepare for a whole lot of walking up some stairs. C1 on the grid.

Once you have searched all five of these Golden Pipe Wrenches, the challenge is complete. It’s a nice change to have to go all over the map on scavenger hunts, there are just way too many kill challenges these days.
