Fortnite: Deadpool’s Hand Cannons Stats & Location

The man loves his guns.

Deadpool 2

After weeks and weeks of waiting and ticking off challenges, we’re finally at the point where Deadpool himself is available as a Battle Pass skin. However, he’s also available as a boss character, meaning that you can get Deadpool’s Hand Cannons as well.

Effectively more souped-up Dual Pistols, Deadpool’s Hand Cannons comes as one weapon of the Mythic variety that is best used in medium range. As with all of the Mythic versions added during Season 2, Deadpool’s Hand Cannons are comfortably some of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Here’s everything we know about Deadpool’s Hand Cannons in Fortnite. Please note: this is not a guide to the Deadpool challenge, find that here.

Compared to the regular Dual Pistols, Deadpool’s Hand Cannons hit extremely hard and even come with a quicker rate of fire, meaning that a full health enemy can be eliminated without much fuss. However, as with the Dual Pistols, the bloom on them can be quite unwieldy, so you may need good aim to get the most out of them.

It’s worth bearing in mind that although they are called Hand Cannons, they work far differently compared to the long vaulted Hand Cannon, which has a slow rate of fire and is also single fire.

To coincide with his introduction to the game, Deadpool has taken over The Yacht up in the right corner of the map and is throwing a party.

After eliminating Deadpool, who has roughly 300+ HP and tends to roam everywhere around the POI, you can then snag Deadpool’s Hand Cannons, as well as a keycard to use to access the Vault in the POI.

If you’re reading this when Deadpool has just been added, you’re going to find it extremely hard to take out Deadpool without also being taken out by another player as the POI will be congested, to say the least.

If you’re still trying to make your way through the Deadpool challenges, we have plenty of guides on where to find all his lost items. Don’t also forget that a respective week’s challenges won’t unlock if the prior week’s challenges haven’t been completed.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
