With January now in the rear view mirror and a fraction of 2021 already gone (but not enough), it’s time to look forward to the new PlayStation Plus games of February 2021 for PS4 and PS5, which are available from today, February 2nd.

The headliner can only be one game: Destruction AllStars. Launching for “free” as part of the service, Destruction AllStars is a PS5 exclusive that was originally supposed to release alongside the console itself. Featuring an eye-catching art style, what looks like an absolutely massive wedge of content, and enough silly fun to emulate the likes of Rocket League and Fall Guys, Destruction AllStars has a big chance of making it big this month.

The supporting act for the month has to be Control: Ultimate Edition, which bundles the base game with its excellent DLC. Following Jesse as she assumes, ahem, control of a shadowy organisation, Control is like a highly stylish, modern Psi-Ops with superb lore and excellent action. There’s also a lot of content to keep you busy in this edition, whether you’re playing on PS4 or PS5.

The smallest game of February on Plus is also its most underrated, as well as being supremely underloved on PS4 as a whole. Concrete Genie follows a young boy as he paints a decrepit town back to life with the help of spirits who live within walls. Inventive and absolutely charming, Concrete Genie isn’t a game that is as revered as other PS4 exclusives, but it really ought to be.

These games will be available until the first Tuesday of March, which is March 2nd. As for when they release, Plus games tend to be up for grabs from noon wherever you are, so be sure to check back at that time if you’ve had no other luck.
