If a listing on the Xbox Store is to be believed, Darksiders 3 will be launching worldwide on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 27th, adding to what is already a cramped fourth quarter release window. Say goodbye to any funds you had in your bank account.
The listing, which was spotted by WCCFTech, comes before any sort of official announcement by THQ Nordic, which leads us to believe that the listing is a mistake, or perhaps more likely, the listing has appeared prematurely.
What’s gives credence to the second option is the inclusion of different digital editions of the game. There’s a Deluxe Edition, which includes pre-order armour skin and two DLC packages that are yet to be determined, along with access to the game a day early. Meanwhile, the “Blades & Whip” Edition, which makes the game sound like a journey into the world of hardcore BDSM, includes all of the above plus the first two Darksiders games. Perfect preparation for the third instalment.
After THQ went under years back, the fate of the Darksiders series was left in limbo, but Darksiders 3 was confirmed late last year. You play as Fury, the third playable horseman of the apocalypse after War and Death, as she battles manifestations of the Seven Deadly Sins in an attempt to restore the balance of good and evil.
